Chuppta Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Chuppta. “We” means the developer of Chuppta. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

Who can use Chuppta

You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password private.

No abusive or objectionable content

Chuppta is for planning get-togethers with friends. There is zero tolerance for abusive or objectionable content. You may not post, send, or upload anything that:

• harasses, bullies, threatens, or intimidates anyone;
• is hateful or discriminates against people because of who they are;
• is sexually explicit, or shows nudity, graphic violence, or self-harm;
• exploits or endangers children;
• is spam, a scam, or tries to steal information;
• is illegal, or infringes someone else’s rights;
• pretends to be another person, or shares someone’s private information without permission.

This applies to event titles and descriptions, chat messages, reactions, photos, profile names and profile photos.

Reporting and blocking

You can report any message or photo in the app: press and hold a chat message, or open a photo, and choose Report. You can also block the person who posted it. Blocked people disappear from your friends, and you no longer see their messages or photos. Manage the people you have blocked in Settings.

We review reports and act on them within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these terms and we remove the accounts of people who post it. We may also remove content or accounts without a report if we find a violation.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people you shared it with, so that the app can work. Event hosts can remove guests and delete their own events. Guests can see what you share in an event they are part of, and events marked public are visible to everyone using Chuppta.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings, then Delete my account. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.

Disclaimers

Chuppta is provided as is. We do not organize or supervise the events people plan, and we are not responsible for what happens at them. Use good judgment when meeting people, and only share a place with people you trust.
